My girlfriend doesn't orgasm during sex – any tips on what I can do?

My girlfriend doesn't climax from intercourse with me. We've been together for over six months now and we've had sex plenty of times, but she just never gets there during PIV. With my previous girlfriends this was never an issue – they usually came pretty quickly and easily.

So I'm wondering: is this something about her (like maybe she just can't orgasm from penetration), or am I doing something wrong / not good enough in bed? Are there women who literally can't be brought to orgasm by certain partners no matter what? Looking for real advice from people who’ve dealt with this.

Could it be that she’s dealing with some physical issues?

In rare cases, the way her anatomy is shaped can make it harder for your girlfriend to orgasm. But more often than not, it’s psychological stuff that’s behind it. Have you two talked about this yet?

What you can do:

The most important thing is that your girlfriend’s mind is free during sex. Any tension or pressure to perform just makes things harder. So putting pressure on her is actually counterproductive. Once she feels comfortable and can relax during sex, you’ve already taken the first step toward her having an orgasm.

You could also try using some aids. Besides different sex toys like vibrators, stimulating lubricants and massage oils can be really helpful for boosting her arousal.
