How can one effectively signal interest to a man?

Hey guys, how do you prefer a woman to show interest? There's this nice guy at my gym. We see each other regularly during workouts. I've caught his eye several times, and he seems interested too—at least I feel he finds me attractive. But he hasn't made the first move to talk to me.

How can I clearly signal to him that he should please, please finally approach me? I'm too shy to make the first move, and besides, I'm the woman. What can I do?

Yeah, my dealings with men are such a complicated matter :)

As someone already said, just go ahead and speak up. As a man myself, and like many others, I understand that feeling all too well. You wait and hope that he finally approaches you, and we "guys" are also waiting for that (well, many of us).
It's quite a tricky situation! Not everyone finds it easy to just strike up a conversation with a stranger, especially of the opposite gender.

If I hadn't just signed up, I wouldn't be able to say what I've just written in one go to a stranger woman. :-)

Just go ahead and talk to him, maybe he's just waiting for it!

Hi, as you may have noticed, men don't always take the initiative either and might be just as hesitant as you to make the first move... Why not give it a try with a few, maybe even insignificant words... It might feel strange at first, but who knows, it might pay off! ;)
