My self-description

I like to laugh ... A LOT! I pretty much laugh at anything ... including everything I shouldn't. I love a witty sense of humor and someone who can laugh at himself. I am extremely driven as far as my career and dedicated most of my time to it since I was in my 20's. However, a number of events in recent years have helped put things into perspective for me and enjoying life (outside of work) has become more of a priority. That being said, I am now ready to pay more attention to my personal life which was less of a focus than my career for a long time. I'd like to find that perfect balance between work and personal life. Not sure if it really exists, but I'm willing to try! I am looking for someone who'd like to do the same. I definitely prefer a gentleman and someone who believes chivalry is not dead. I mean, I don't need you to throw your jacket over a puddle of water for me, but I do think it's rude when a man lets a woman pay for a date that he's asked her on. I know how that sounds, but I'm just being honest.

Who I am looking for

Am looking for a relationship that will lead to long term, with a caring, respectful, warm and passionate man. He’s funny and fun-loving. He is a hard worker and is goal oriented. He knows what it means to be a gentleman. He isn't just looking for a "hookup. " He wants an authentic life (i. e. , let's define our priorities and then live by them regardless of what others are doing). He’s ready for a relationship and is open to love, which is different than just not wanting to be alone. Romance may not come naturally to him, but he’ll be brave enough to take some risks in this department
even if only for a laugh. I’m not looking for perfection; I’m looking not for effort. I want what most mentally healthy people want from a relationship.
