I was raised with old-fashion manners and values. I enjoy most outdoor activities - camping, fishing, hunting, water sports, hiking, etc. Major passions include Scuba, snorkeling, swimming, glassblowing, stained-glass, orchids, bass guitar, gardening, aquariums, photography, artifact hunting, antique collecting, cooking, food, friends, good times, home construction, koi ponds, any of the shooting sports, especially long-distance high-power riflery, archery, plus many other hobbies. I read a lot (sci-fi, adventure, fantasy, how-to), watch movies and enjoy concerts. I like classic and contemporary rock, some cross-over country, and some pop. I love to teach and apparently teaching is my purpose in life. I am patriotic, loyal and faithful, and stick with my friends and loved ones through thick and thin. I love children and because of that and the current state of world affairs tend to be strict with them. I bend over backwards to help people. I am genuine, honest, tender-hearted and wear my heart on my sleeve. I also speak my peace and stand my ground. I figure, better that, than deceive others with falsehoods, false promises and deception like some others do to get their way. I feel that one should say what they mean and mean what they say. I dislike people that are selfish and self-serving, thoughtless of other's feelings, boastful or snide. Another pet-peeve is users; I hate 'em with a blinding passion. I figure such people are the lowest form of life on the planet; hopefully they are headed for their just reward. Users beware ... Like most people, I have a temper but it takes a good bit to push me to the brink. I want to meet a genuine, honest, interesting, intelligent female to share my life with, have good times with, someone whose life I can feel like I enrich and from whom I myself can learn. Who I am looking for

I am in search of a man of God who understands what a good woman is, and values her. A man that is capable of approaching a new relationship with an open mind and accepts a woman as a whole partner and not what she can change him into being. Otherwise I have no interest. I love family and I am protective, but not jealous. A man able to receive love and embrace it as opposed to trying to fit the woman, like a part in to an already designed to machine.
