In the past finding someone that I could be
myself and specially trust was always a
problem. Unfortunately growing up I went
through a lot with my parents dysfunctional
relationship; my father cheated so many times
on the one woman that I placed on a pedestal,
my mom. That experience always pushed me away
from wanting to date anyone, I felt as if I
always had to keep my guards up, to not be
hurt. However, when chatting with guys online
I felt different, my personality was kind.
Nonetheless, on 2007 after joining myspace
for two years, and making countless of
friends. There was this one guy that would
always email me every month or so. I later
found out that he was in the army. We would
email each other never believing that we
would meet in person one day. Online he acted
like a true gentleman, never fresh , this
encouraged me in believing that he was only
playing an act. I then deleted many people
who I did not know personally, him included.
Any how something within me motivated me in
wanting to give this guy a chance and meet
him. After several dates I knew he was the
man for me; I forgot about tradition where
dating someone from online was a taboo and
slowly with time my trust towards him grew
incredibly; I was so glad to have been sent
an angel from God. A man that without no
returns treasured and loved me. We have been
together 2 years and I can't be any happier
and am anxious to become his wife next week.
